The Garfield Lake Ice Racers is a non-profit organization that races full size cars on Garfield lake in Laporte Mn. Racing starts in January and ends in March depending on ice conditions. We donate to numerous causes in the Laporte area. A scholarship is given away by the club to a student attending the Laporte school. We also give funds to the Laporte-Benedict Lions club which they give away as a scholarship.
Our primary mission is to have fun while racing on ice.
Come out and watch us on any Sunday from the beginning of January till sometime in March. It's free to come out and watch.
While your out on the ice you can have lunch and snacks that the Lions club furnish at a reasonable price.
